I started taking my own health seriously after being diagnosed with PCOS in my early 20s and gaining a lot of weight rapidly.
I'll be honest - I didn't enjoy "fitness" when I started. That's because I was in it for the wrong reasons - I was looking for a "quick fix" solution. And for most part, I was throwing things on a wall, hoping something would stick.
The biggest shift for me came when I cut out all the noise from social media, what other people were doing etc. I stopped changing my plan every 5 minutes, got super clear on what I wanted for myself and exactly HOW I was going to get there. And I stated showing up for myself every damn day.
Over the years I've built long lasting habits, found joy in my fitness journey and now I help others do the same.
